Support the North Texas Food Bank During DFW Shred Day

Comerica Bank and Iron Mountain invite neighbors to Mercer Business Park on Saturday, April 13.

Get rid of those sensitive paper documents while supporting the North Texas Food Bank during Shred Day DFW, Saturday, April 13.

Hosted by Comerica Bank and Iron Mountain, the event is held at Iron Mountain’s flagship location, Mercer Business Park, 12121 N. Stemmons Fwy., from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Along with having documents securely shredded, neighbors are invited to donate money and nonperishable food items to the NTFB, which will have volunteers and staff on-site to collect donations.

Since 2011, nearly 600,000 nutritious meals have been provided to neighbors facing hunger thanks to gifts made during Shred Day DFW.

Through the event, Comerica has destroyed and recycled more than 2.64 million pounds of sensitive paper.

Shredding documents is crucial to protecting your identity. For some businesses, including health care organizations and law firms, it’s also required by law.
